Nine young people start working life at Stadtwerke

A total of nine apprentices began their training at Stadtwerke Landshut on Monday, 2 September 2019. A total of 32 apprentices are currently learning a job at Stadtwerke across the years. As one of the largest employers in the region, public utilities offer a broad spectrum of apprenticeships - both in the technical and commercial fields. "With us, the young people receive a varied introduction to the world of work, and with very good performance, they also have a long-term perspective," says plant manager Armin Bardelle. In particular, the junior public utility also gets to know other areas within the company. "This promotes mutual understanding, makes the training varied and also raises the quality," says the Stadtwerke boss.
In addition to the diversity of tasks, there are further added values for apprentices at the Stadtwerke: a health management with lectures, courses and fitness units, a public sector pay under the Collective Agreement for Trainees (TVAöD) with a special annual bonus of 90 percent of the salary plus a monthly grant for capital contributions , Company-internal events such as the company outing or employee celebrations as well as employee discounts at various retailers complete the offer.
For the year 2020, training seekers can apply to Stadtwerke until October 14, 2019. A total of eleven apprenticeships are available, spread over eight apprenticeships.
