Stadtwerke at the environmental fair

From 29 to 31 March 2019 Stadtwerke Landshut will present themselves at the environmental fair at booth A002 in the Sparkassen-Arena. Visitors to the fair can find out more about the entire range of services, in particular the ecological products of the energy supply sectors electricity, natural gas and district heating, about the drinking water supply in Landshut, the offers in the city pool, city buses and parking garages, the locations of the public electricity charging stations and the sewage disposal. With a bit of luck, a stand visit can be even more rewarding: During the environmental fair, Stadtwerke will be giving away ten high-quality double-walled glass bottles with tea strainer and bamboo screw cap per raffle per raffle day.

From Wednesday, 13.02.2019, until probably Friday, 15.02.2019, the Bauhofstraße between Industriestraße and Fürstenstraße is closed. Reason is a bigger water pipe break. Affected bus lines: X2, 12, 102 and the school bus lines 513, 520, 531, 556, 563, 581. The diversion of the affected bus lines takes place in both directions via Industriestraße - Etzstraße (Realschule Erg.) - Sportplatzstraße - Bauhofstraße - Fürstenstraße. The stop "Bauhofstraße" can not be reached during this time. For the bus stop "Fürstenstraße" an alternative stop is set up for the direction out of the city.

Because of too slippery roads, the stops along the mountain routes in Landshut currently can not be approached. This affects the stops at Moniberg (lines 5 and 105), from Birkenberg to Lainerbuckel (lines 10 and 110) and lines 1 and 101 from Kumhausen Rathausplatz to Preisberg. In addition, the stop "Kumhausen / Altes Rathaus" can not be approached.

Lines 5 and 105 leave from / to the Alte Kaserne or Altstadt stop. Lines 10 and 110 leave from Sportzentrum West to Goldinger Straße and back.

All other ten lines are not affected and will be operated according to the timetable.

The affected stops are expected to be serviced again on Saturday morning.

The stops are not approached for safety reasons. On slippery roads or when it is extremely muddy due to heavy snowfall, the bus can slip when going downhill. The bus is then uncontrollable and can crash into a fence or house wall and takes in the worst case even pedestrians. A bus can do a lot more damage than a regular car because of its massive weight. The municipal utilities are constantly in contact with the winter service. Nevertheless, it is currently difficult due to the weather to keep all roads clear.
