Ursache waren zwei Erdschl\u00fcsse im Mittelspannungsbereich aufgrund eines technischen Defekts. Dadurch entstand ein Kurzschluss, wodurch die Schutztechnik die betroffenen Netzgebiete vom Stromnetz abschaltete. Die Mitarbeiter der Stadtwerke arbeiteten sofort mit Hochdruck daran, die betroffenen Haushalte schnellstm\u00f6glich wieder an das Stromnetz zuzuschalten. Der Stadtteil M\u00fcnchnerau war um 11.26 Uhr wieder mit Strom versorgt, die Wolfgang- und Bayerwaldsiedlung um 11.31 Uhr.
