Indoor pool season begins in the city pool

The indoor pool season in Stadtbad Landshut begins: From Saturday, 14. September 2019, swimming enthusiasts can swim indoors again. From Monday, 16.09.2019 to Friday, 20.09.2019, the outdoor pool, which serves as a multipurpose pool in the summer, will be maintained and cleaned. For the bathers is then still the sports pool available. Access is via the indoor pool.

Numerous courses are available in the program of the upcoming indoor pool season: From 6 October 2018, there will be an Aqua Zumba course on Sundays from 11 am to 12 pm with a total of ten units. Aqua-Zumba is an effective and joint-gentle training using a combination of classical water aerobics and Latin American dance choreographies.

After a year's break, the mermaid swimming in small groups is back in the program of Stadtbad Landshut. Swimming instructor and mermaid Vanessa shows budding aquatic mythical creatures in the right costume the right fin stroke and diving technique as well as the first underwater figures. Finally she shoots the participants in action with an underwater camera - so that there are also souvenir photos from the personal dive trip into the fantasy world. The Mermaid Swimming takes place on all Tuesdays from 15:15 to 16:15 between 1 October 2019 and 3 December 2019 and from 7 January 2020 to 4 February 2019 in the indoor pool. The deadline for registration is eight days in advance. The number of participants is limited to four people.

The registration for the Aqua Zumba lessons, the mermaid swimming as well as for further children and adult swimming courses are already possible in the customer center in the old town 74, in the city bath or by E-Mail under info@stadtwerke-landshut.de. The free water aerobics for seniors takes place on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 13.30 to 14 o'clock.

The opening times for the indoor pool will be on 14 September 2019 on school days as follows: Monday from 1 to 8 pm; Tuesday from 6 to 8 o'clock and from 13 to 21 o'clock; Wednesday from 1 to 8 pm; Thursday from 6 to 8 o'clock and from 13 to 21 o'clock; Friday from 13 to 21 o'clock; Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays 8am to 8pm. In addition, the indoor pool is open from October on every second Saturday of the month during the sauna nights until 23 clock. In the autumn, Christmas and Easter holidays, the indoor pool is open to all visitors throughout the mornings.
